I have many PvE characters, most of whom have more than one set of armor. Farming sets, various sets to effectively run certain builds, and fun sets I find attractive.

It's not a vanity to me. I don't buy armors to 'show off' to anyone. I buy only the sets I personally like the looks of, because quite frankly, I don't care what anyone thinks about my armor selections.

I wish I could buy more. My Warrior in particular needs more sets, but I just don't have the room. I just salvaged one of her two sets yesterday, as a matter of fact. I didn't have a choice, something had to go.

i love it i've been thinkin about that for a long time i hope they do it

and while theyre at it would be cool if they could add a weapon department in your storage also...cuz god that would help PvP'ers that use pve characters alot seeing i have like 6 different weapons for each kind of weapon so like 6 swords 6 axes 6 hammers 6 shields w.e now i have no room to put my stuff anymore and i dont think people should have to make Mule characters just to put theyre stuff

With the introduction of HoM each of my characters have 4 sets of elite armor (one from each campaign). I keep space in my storage chest just so I can move stuff over for farming. I don’t think having space for extra armor sets will have a dramatic affect on the economy of the game.

But meh ... It is some sort of a storage extension and Gaile already said that they won't expand the chest size anymore.

So I don't see this happen.

Smile Anet: How about some armor storage?

I was thinking in a way to add a storage for my armors and...

Why do not use a NPC like Festival Hat Maker (http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Festival_hat_maker) to 'copy' our armors, so we can delete from our storage/inventory and get a new one just talking to him?

A name? Armor Tailor Agent

I have one storage tab filled with armors belonging to my warrior, another with mesmer sets and one with miscellaneous armor parts. Not to mention pretty much all my character personal inventory space is filled with various weapons and armor, so whenever I go questing, I can't really pick anything up! And I don't want to salvage all my armor I worked so much to get either, so...

/signed, oh ANet, please, /signed!

PS. Why can't the HoM monument actually store the armor you display?

Eh... and how much would it cost to get it back from the tailor?

Still doesn't solve the problem for some.

For example if you have a Radiant set, a Survivor set... and Dreadnought's, Knight's and Sentinel...

Unless you can get your armor back with insignia's still on it.

This is a half decent Idea.

there would have to be some limitation doh.
For example, armor created from this guy would have to be unsalvageble because this way, I could just put in Obsidian armor, keep crafting it and then salvaging for ecto.

I would also say, just a blank armor would be created from this.

I'l go and /signe this

/storage, I mean /signed

I have 4 monk armors and 2 for Assassin, Ritualist, Ranger and Mesmer. I always wear one, so I have in storage 3 monk and 4 other characters'. 7 rows wasted on armor... 7x5 = 35 items I can't put in storage. Yaay.

This isn't "another one"...

This is probably the oldest.

Which then begs the question... why don't we have it yet?

You should be able to store your armor in HoM and pull it out whenever you want.

This also should apply to pets and weapons....

It could be done so that there is a spot for each type of armor.

for a war

Knights
Knights 15k
plate
Plate 15k

and so on. just drop all the peaces in its little box and then just double click that box to get that armor on and autmaticly put the armor you have on away.

idk

I have way to many 15K armor sets. They take up too much room but I just cant part with them.

Was there a reason why you couldn't have posted this in the already existing armor storage thread?

Absolutley! It's the perfect solution. Every time you put armour in the HoM you can equip it from there and it doesn't have to clutterup valuable storage space...

The HoM made this feature more and more necessary, since we're encouraged to have more than one armour set...in fact, I'd say we're encouraged to have more than 3 armour sets, yet we clearly don't have enough storage space to keep them all...
